Creative Production
Visual communication, especially through photo, has always been such an exciting experience to produce. I enjoy it because it allows me to work create art with like-minded creatives.
Spearheading projects has always come naturally to me, both as a creative director and a photographer. I find myself constantly plagued with ideas that I want to share and collaborate in creating with others.
aphrodite
My team and I wanted to create a project that served as a celebration of women and their femininity. I came up with the idea of using the Greek goddess Aphrodite as a metaphor for women. I planned three layouts with three models of varying facial features or types of beauty as I personally envision the goddess with multiple mortal forms to represent the diversity of beauty.

fever dreams
"Fever Dreams" was meant to implement an entirely different aesthetic, especially the location for the layout. My team and I faced unexpected circumstances which did not allow us to use the intended location. However, we used what we could and pivoted the overall direction of the project. Now, the project aims to convey a sense of surrealism by utilizing juxtaposed visual elements. I decided for the new direction to be a visual metaphor for the blur that is the queer adolescence experience.

citrine
"Citrine" as a project is not necessarily a commentary on anything but a test on my team and my production abilities. At the time, the "cottagecore" and "academia" aesthetic was quite popular, which is why we decided on such visual direction. However, with such stereotypically feminine concepts, we wanted to use men as models to create interest.

"August" was the first creative shoot we officially had as a creative content creator. This project was meant to be a more contemporary yet abstract reimagining of three specific baroque paintings: "Mary Magdalen in Ecstacy" by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, "Portrait of Innocent X" by Diego Velazquez, and "Charles II of England in Coronation Robes" by John Michael Wright, respectively.

El Filibusterismo
Chapter 23: A Corpse
One of the major requirements for a production course was to create a moving poster on a certain piece of literature as a class. Ours chose Chapter 23 of El Filibusterismo by Dr. Jose Rizal. We wanted to emulate the feel of an old book with a serious and tense mood for the overall direction with it being such a classic and relevant piece of literature.
