Illustrations
Like a lot of artists, the first art I created were drawings. However, it wasn't until 2021 when I first started doing digital art. These illustrations are both personal art and plates I have done for art school.
I enjoy drawing people the most and conveying movement through these illustrations. I look forward to learning more about color since I greatly enjoy experimenting with it.
Okay Lang
"Okay Lang" is a slice-of-life comic series following the daily life of the main character, Isay, as she navigates through the struggles of young adult, lower-middle class, queer Filipina. Her daily shenanigans are set in present day Iligan City, Lanao del Norte and joined by an ensemble of neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family.
It aims to provide a mostly lighthearted and relatable story while still shedding light to very real experiences of the Filipino masses.

The gallery to the right is a draft of the pilot chapter of the digital comic. It follows Isay's day (or in her case- night) at work as a cook at a popular neighborhood pub.
Murals for
SPOT Music Box
On August 2023, SPOT District launched a new addition to their commercial strip which is a karaoke joint, SPOT Music Box. Prior to its opening, SPOT's owner commissioned me and my project partner to create seven murals all over the establishment.

SPOT Music Box is greatly inspired by the neon alleys of Southeast Asia, so the client wanted colorful and vibrant murals to serve as design focal points and encourage photo opportunities.

Murals for
Fuzzy Hideout
My first commissioned mural was a joint project with Mikee Bernaldez, for a pet supplies store, Fuzzy Hideout. The client requested we do the mural reminiscent to the "vector art" style and incorporate their pet dog and cat, which were their store mascots. I opted to use a green background to blend it with the store, which was already mostly painted green.

This was also a difficult project, mainly because of the location. The walls we were tasked to paint were not the most convenient to paint on and the storefront had little to no protection from the rain. Despite these struggles, we completed the murals as scheduled and left the client satisfied.
