Graphic Design
I see graphic design as such a versatile form of art. It utilizes so many elements, from illustrations to images to typography, unconstrained to a single style. It's the perfect metaphor for the type of artist I want to become: nonlinear, multidimensional, and constantly evolving.

confessions of a twenty something year old
As someone who is in their early twenties, a lot of the experiences I went through were quite isolating and pretty heavy to handle all on my own. Then I thought that other people probably feel alone too, so why not materialize all of these feelings and share them out to my fellow twenty-something year olds?

These are only the graphic artworks of the art book. There are still many more pages filled with mini-comics and musings of a twenty-something year old. Feel free to view the whole thing through the link below!
Pixie Dust:
A Katseye Album
This project was a plate for my Portfolio class. The task was to design a CD jacket for an existing music artist.

I chose to create a mock-album for the global girl group, Katseye. I was inspired by the group's Winx Club Halloween costume. This led me to conceptualize a pop album that centers around the vibrance and magic of feminine experiences.
This project is purely personal and not a legitimate commercial product.

Visuals for
Today's Carolinian
Being a part of Today's Carolinian for years, I have made several visuals under the publication. It is an organization whose values I closely align with, so despite following TC's branding, I can say that my visuals under them still reflect my style as an artist.

Today's Carolinian also is a platform constantly pumping out significant amounts of content. This challenges me to consistently create visuals that are varied yet cohesive, and engaging to a wide audience.
Advocating
for Activism
As a country with cultures and a history that instilled to us several biases, our society has never been the most forgiving to minorities. I make it a point to create art that not only encourages, but asserts spaces for causes people are struggling to fight for. I make advocacy art that may be palatable to the general masses, but I also do not shy away from advocacy art that might disturb the comfortable.
